on high!
yay my spirits haven't been this high for a long time!
Experiences was a success, to put it modestly hehe :P so so relieved! met so many friends and my ex-students, kept my adrenaline high!
But the REAL life only begins after Experiences!
Have been hanging out a lot with fellow PUB scholars the past week haha! first was a teambuilding workshop, where we got to meet the new scholars for the first time. it was our scholarship selection activity round with the same coordinator but without the evaluators and pressure haha.
On tue we had induction program in the morning. 4 us are supposed to be on attachment now but requested to join this program which is meant for new staff haha. then afternoon was a slack rehearsal for the scholarship presentation ceremony at macritchie reservoir followed by dinner at j8 swensons!
Wed, was at macritchie since 11 for rehearsal again then the real thing! this lousy emcee here fumbled over a few words as usual :(, but no major mishaps phew, and our skit was pretty well-received i thought hehe. ya so we got the praises and thank-yous from the chairman and CE and directors, so yay a relief!
And the day did not just end there haha! as if we were not tired and sweaty enough, a group of us went to zouk for mambo night! haha i finally fulfiled my wish of witnessing mambo night which guojian has been raving about! no no, i didn't get drunk. in fact, i had been supporting zhang er who got a bit high and her steps were a little unsteady so cute haha. and i left by 1am lor! haha.
today, continued the induction program. ya la quite tired, so was zonking out at certain talks :p at the end of the day, we were brought to macritchie reservoir (yes, again!) to kayak! yay~ i have been longing to kayak at, where else, but my reservoir! whee! only kayaked about 45min before the rain clouds threatened, my arms quite lousy la. come on lor, i haven't kayaked since sec 3 obs lor!! damn fun, and it's gd to kayak with a guy cuz guys are strong so i can rest from time to time hahaha.
more stuff ahead this week: celebration dinner at No Signboard, kbox session, ndp preview, Cabaret!
